The girls were the first babies born in Yakima in 2012. Karen weighed 4.4 pounds and Katherine 4.9 pounds. They were delivered by cesarean section 2:40 a.m. The sororal twins are the Sunnyside couple’s fifth and sixth children. Both parents are employees at Washington Beef in Toppenish.
